My name is Mark Seemann, and I was born November 25th, 1970, in Copenhagen. My mother was a clerk at that time - later she got herself a masters degree in Sociology. My father was - and still is - a building constructor, although he also studied some years to become an engineer. Most of my life I've lived in Copenhagen, with the exception of many weekends which were spent in my parents' house on the island of Møn, some hundred kilometers south of Copenhagen.

In 1994 I got a masters degree in Economics. I've worked as an economist in the Danish Ministry of Economic Affairs, which wasn't too exciting. After that, I worked as a network supporter in the multinational danish corporation Oticon. Currently, I'm employed as a developer in Rainier

Not long ago, I would have liked to become a graphic novelist, but that's not very probable at the moment. I've always loved comics and graphic novels. My parents used to read "Tintin" and "Prince Valiant" (among others) to me long before I could read, and the interest stuck.

There was a time when I wanted to become a rock musician as well. I've been playing the guitar since 1986, although not much in the last couple of years.

1987 was the year when I started playing role playing games. It was in high school and the game was Traveller. After a couple of years of low-intensity gaming I started to play very regularly with some new friends. Although we're not gaming nearly as much as we once did, we still get together a couple of evenings each month to play MegaTraveller or Shadowrun.
